We asked Jake what he likes most about his position. ” I like getting to be creative. I’ve done just about everything in landscaping over the past few years, but designing is where I find the most enjoyment.”
Following is advice Jake offers to our current students: “Establish short term and long term goals for your career. Explore every opportunity that you can that will help you reach those goals. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone to try something new within the industry. Remember, you don’t want to wake up every morning and dread going to work. Do what you love to do.”
