The Department of Horticulture was prominent at the 4th Annual Local Foods Festival, held on central campus, on September 19, 2018

Over 2,000 students and ISU/community members tasted local foods from some of the 30 vendors, including the ISU Horticulture Club, the Horticulture Farm, and the Organic Ag Program.  Horticulture students also participated in the Good Earth Student Farm booth.  Festival-goers learned about organic and horticultural practices while sampling apples from the Hort Farm and taking organic squash and peppers from the Delate lab home to eat.  ISU Daily article:
