We’re very excited to invite you all to the 2026 Plant Breeding Field Day, taking place Wednesday, August 19th, starting at 10:00 AM. This year’s event features research in corn breeding and genetics from Dr. Jode Edwards’ Lab along with research and development of perennial groundcovers for cropping systems presented by Dr. Shuizhang Fei’s Lab.

Please meet us at the Ag Engineering and Agronomy Research Farm (AEA) Main Building: 1308 U Ave, Boone, IA, 50036. We’ll start there with some provided snacks and drinks before moving on to the tours.
