Cyclone Night at the DSM Botanical GardenJuly 19, 2016
Join us for an evening of music, education, and Cyclone pride at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden July 28. As live jazz fills the garden, guests will learn about the horticultural science that brings its beauty to bloom. Hands-on learning stations include a make-and-take activity, and guided tours will be offered from 5-7 p.m. A short program will feature ISU alum Kelly Norris, director of horticulture, who will share the story of the garden’s dynamic renewal.
Registration is $10 per person and includes hors’d’oeuvres, admission and activities. A cash bar also will be available. Reservations for the guided tours are available to the first 60 guests who register. Deadline for registration is Wednesday, July 20 at noon.
Sponsored by the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, the Iowa State University Department of Horticulture and the Iowa State University Alumni Association.
