Robison named CALS Dean

Daniel Robison from West Virginia University has been named the next Endowed Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and Director of the Iowa Agriculture and Home Economics Experiment Station.  He will begin his tenure no later than March 31, 2019.


Alum of the Month: Adam Thoms, Assistant Professor in the Department of Horticulture at Iowa State

Adam Thoms graduated in Horticulture with Turfgrass Option in May 2006.  Adam is from Waverly, Iowa. Adam’s major job responsibilities are teaching Sports Turf Management and Irrigation classes, conduct turfgrass research, and serve as the Turfgrass Extension Specialist for Iowa.
