Iowa State University will be hosting the 2018 NACTA (North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture) conference

in Ames on June 12-15.  ISU professors (and NACTA members) from Agriculture Education and Studies, Agronomy, Animal Science, and Horticulture are assisting with the on-site organization of this event.  Over 300 professors or college educators from diverse agriculture disciplines and from around the country are expected to attend this year’s conference in Ames.  Several tours…

Alum of the Month: Dana Diers, Grower – Horticulturist at Johnson’s Nursery, Inc. in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Dana Diers graduated in Agronomy and Horticulture in May 2015.  Dana is from Fairfield, Iowa. Dana’s major job responsibilities are Winter Greenhouse Tomato Production and Propagation Technician.  During the in-season her responsibilities are Container Tree Production Lead and Field Production, Plant Maintenance and Fertility/Cover Crop Planning.
