The commercial turfgrass program provides training in commercial production, management techniques, water management, integrated pest management, and economic development to lawn care services, golf courses, parks and athletic fields. The program includes the Iowa Turfgrass Conference and Workshop, Iowa Turfgrass Field Day, public grounds workshops, uplink training for pesticide certification and golf course meetings. An annual research report covers applied research conducted for the industry.
