- Horticultural Communications and Public Education — 15 credits
- Planting, Design and Installation — 12 credits
- Nursery Crops Production and Landscape Management — 12 credits
- Public Garden Management and Administration — 12 credits
- Science Option — 12 credits
- Turfgrass Management — 12 credits

Department of Horticulture students participate in university-wide academic programs including the Honors Program, Undergraduate Research Assistant program and Women in Science and Engineering program. These programs are directed toward students demonstrating high grade point averages and provide unique opportunities for independent study and research.
