Teaching Responsibilities

Horticulture 376– Fundamentals of Field Production of Horticultural Food Crops.  An introduction to theoretical and practical knowledge required for successfully producing fruit and vegetable crops.  Topics include:  site selection, soil techniques, irrigation management, equipment and tools, integrated pest management, season extension strategies, postharvest handling and food safety, marketing, and basic business planning.

Horticulture 471– Vegetable Production and Management (crop classification; planting
