Additional Resource: A photo of each of the 137 plants that we will study will be available on WebCT. The photos are intended to help you learn the names of the plants, but be aware that photos are a poor substitute for the real thing and most of the real plants are available for viewing in the Conservatory. The Conservatory is open Monday through Thursday 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Friday 8:15 a.m. to noon.
Course Content:
Identification, nomenclature, selection and culture of foliage plants
for interior landscapes. Planning, cost estimating, installation, and
maintenance of foliage plants and flowering potted plants in homes,
offices, and public buildings.
